Gavin Farron
Gavin Farron has grown up in the shadow of his extremely artistic brother, despite being nearly twice his size. The modest artist has always praised his own extraordinary artistic talent, which developed rapidly after breaking the shackles of A-level Art.
Gavin mainly uses his beloved acrylics, occasionally partnering them with an alternative medium, such as wax, wine or wall-filler. Gavin paints to either convey an emotion or gain a quick sale.
The dichotomy of painting something that is 'meaningless' for money or 'meaningful' for art does not bother Gavin, although most people would say it should.
Gavin Farron is not most people, he is actually quite funny unlike the majority of members exhibiting at The Electric Gallery.
